TO AID IN DEVELOPMENT OF FRANCHISE PROGRAM

LOS ANGELES – September 19, 2006 – uWink, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: UWNK - News), a publicly-held digital entertainment company, announced today that it has retained Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP to aid in the development and implementation of uWink’s franchise program. uWink is the latest innovation from Nolan Bushnell, the founder and former CEO of Atari, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATAR) and the Chuck E. Cheese restaurant chain -- now CEC Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE:CEC).

uWink is a new restaurant concept that combines food, drinks, and entertainment, inviting guests to eat, drink and play at the same time, from their tables.  uWink is designed to offer new entertainment options (including games, movie trailers, horoscopes, and other media) for its customers, allowing tables to participate together, engage other tables, and eventually with guests and tables at other uWink restaurants.  The first restaurant, which is fully staffed and in its final construction phase, will open shortly at the Westfield Promenade in Woodland Hills, Calif.
