CareersHardware Support TechnicianWe have an exciting opportunity for a Hardware Support Technician to join our Los Angeles, CA engineering team. This person will be on the front line - building out our new restaurants and maintaining the hardware in our current restuarant.
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual with good verbal communication skills. The ideal person will be a quick learner who can easily grow his/her skill set to match the working environment. The position will involve understanding the design of our hardware terminals and basic networking knowledge.
This individual will also work closely with with the restaurant management, the hardware and software engineering staff, and will need to be a self-starter, capable of diagnosing and solving a myriad range of technical and operations issues. Strong problem-solving skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be:
• Works with well with a team or individual. • General understanding of hand tools. • Willing to work any hours. • Able to travel. • Can perform a variety of job functions simultaneously. • Detail Oriented • Project minded
• 2+ years industry experience in technical support, professional services, engineering, or systems engineering. • 2+ years of break/fix working with desktops, laptops, faxes and printers. • Basic TCP/IP networking knowledge • AA Degree a significant plus. • Posses strong communication and problem solving skills • Unfettered access to a cell-phone and a working car. • Experience in balancing and following through multiple projects with shifting priorities. • Strong command of the English language We offer :
